Below is one of his most requested recipes for Rice Pudding– Rizogalo

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup rice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 quart milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs, well beaten

Boil rice in water until water is absorbed.
2. Add rice to one full quart milk that is warm.
3. Add the sugar and COOK SLOWLY for 1 hour, stirring constantly.
4. Stir until mixture again begins to boil slightly and thicken.
5. Pour into individual dessert dishes and sprinkle with cinnamon (optional).
6. Serve when cool.
