Our in-house chef: Rice Pilaf – Rizi Pilafi

Ingredients:
1 cup rice
1 can chicken broth
1 cup water
4 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Salt to Taste
Directions:
Wash rice in salt water and drain for 20 minutes.
Melt butter in saucepan and add rice.
Stir and let cook n butter until each grain is coated.
Heat broth and water, then add.
Add salt and lemon juice and stir.
Season, bring to boil, and reduce heat.
Cover and let simmer until liquid is absorbed and rice is cooked, about 20 minutes.
Delicious with yogurt, or sprinkled with Romano cheese.
